Councillors have agreed to continue to engage with the Scottish Government for further investment in ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº communities facing depopulation, particularly affordable housing, digital and transport connectivity and more employment opportunities.
ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº Council has identified potential projects that could be in the running to benefit from a share of up to £20 million of capital funding from the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund.
Nine community groups in ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº will be able to create new facilities or improve open spaces in their local area following successful bids to the council for a share of the Vibrant and Living Spaces Grant.
